Albacore by Tom Wegener 4'11

The Albacore is designed for the ultimate in fun, safe, performance surfing. This soft, finless surfboard was designed by Tom Wegener in 2011 for surfers of all levels. After extensive R&D on Noosa's points a prototype was developed with help from Global Surf Industries and the Albacore was released onto the global market. 

A limited edition Albacore has been released in red and is available now. Features include;

Anti-wax Deck - no rash or sticky wax residue 

Soft Slick Skin - enhanced water flow on bottom surface 

Safe Wrapped Stringers - engineered flex & stability 

Power Rod - engineered rebound and pop

Leash Plug - accepts standard surfboard leashes

Tom designed the original Albacore in partnership with Global Surf Industries in 2011. The Albacore was released as part of The Seaglass Project and won an Australian International Design Award in 2011 (now known as the Australian Good Design Awards).
